My husband travels a lot for work and one night I called him at about 3am crying (rather hysterically I'll admit) because there was a banging noise coming from out of my bedroom in what I thought was the hallway. I was convinced that something terrible was going to happen and all my husband said was 'is it windy?' Yes. 'Is the hallway window open?' Yes. 'Do you think that maybe the wind is banging the blinds against the side of the window frame?' I sheepishly opened my bedroom door and sure enough the damn blinds were doing a little dance in the wind making all the noise. I'm still getting crap for that one!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1052527382100903498.post-20823191950112445192010-12-06T08:49:51.487-05:002010-12-06T08:49:51.487-05:00I was very lucky it wasn't a mouse! Yikes!

Luckily we have never had mice in this house but the house I grew up in did (probably because we were surrounded by fields)and one night I had one scamper across my bed. I lost a year off my life that night! Not to mention I had to strip the bed and put new sheets and everything on it. Ugh!Joy@TPMGhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13125789776241250430noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1052527382100903498.post-72772904174511767622010-12-03T20:30:36.737-05:002010-12-03T20:30:36.737-05:00Ha! You can do nothing less in situations that require a showdown with the unknown. :) You're lucky that's all it was!Jennifer Farrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14572664892701326296noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1052527382100903498.post-21277603002852158572010-12-03T10:35:13.697-05:002010-12-03T10:35:13.697-05:00That is too funny!!!! I know the exact kind of sound you're talking about too, and I'm pretty sure I've suspected mice from time to time.

Of course, I have had mice...so there's reason to worry!
