Want a Gummibar?

The day after my husband bought our joint anniversary present-an iPad, Emily asked to see something "cool" on it.

Bob immediately started checking out the videos on YouTube just so he didn't have to listen to her asking repeatedly.  Nothing can drive you down the short road to crazy faster than a two year old asking the same question fifty times in two minutes.

And then...

He introduced our daughter to Gummibar.

Oh I’m a gummy bear.
Yes I’m a gummy bear.
Oh I’m a yummy tummy funny lucky gummy bear.
I’m a jelly bear.
Cause I´m a gummy bear.
Oh I’m a movin’ groovin’ jammin’ singing gummy bear.
Oh yeaoooh.

Emily laughed and jumped around, groovin' along with Gummibar.

When it ended..."I see something cool again, Daddy".

Then, my husband had to click on all of the other Gummibar videos to.   I got to listen to the rollicking tunes of "Nuki Nuki" (it's all about a pacifier), "Choco Choco Choco", and even "Itsi Bitsi Bikini".

The next day, we helped our friends pack up since they are moving.  Bob took his new toy and introduced their son to Gummibar.

Gummibar was a huge hit in their house to.

It is something about a cute loveable gummy bear dancing around that gets you every time.

WARNING: Remember the "Barbie Girl" song by Aqua?  If you were prone to hearing that song in your head for days at a time after hearing it, do NOT click on this video.  Also, the gummibear is dancing and shaking in his underpants. Just thought I should warn you.

Maybe it is a good thing that my husband is taking "our" anniversary present out west for his business trip.  That's okay I may have to rescue it when I am out visiting. Only so I can listen to gummibar on the way home.

My 5 year old loves the gummi bear song and made her aunt play it for her via YouTube on her blackberry just the other day!

My stepdaughter is 10...so your future is "Say Say My Playmate" and "Banana Phone." Actually, every time we see her, she has some new song everyone at school is singing.

Hahahha! I love him shaking his little gummy butt. Haha. This is a cute post. Barbie Girl is actually one of my favorite songs, too.

I've got something for you, btw.

Actually my trip out west could probably count as an anniversary present:)

Stephanie-I have never heard of those songs! I have to check them out.

My daughter saw this post on the computer (I forgot to close it) and she begged for me to play it. She then went and got my husband's other laptop and turned it on and told me that she fixed her daddy's computer. Apparently, only Daddy lets her watch cool stuff. Humpf. I'll remember that next time she wants to watch Max and Ruby. Then, we'll see who is cooler:)
